Warranty obligations apply to products sold with a document confirming the purchase from UAB “Reimpex Kaunas”. These “Warranty Terms and Conditions” do not limit consumers’ statutory rights but merely specify the conditions applicable to warranty repairs.
Standard Warranty Conditions
- A 6-month warranty from the date of sale applies to batteries, cells and rechargeable batteries.
- All accessories and components supplied with the product must be retained throughout the warranty period.
- The period during which warranty repairs are carried out is not included in the warranty period.
- The manufacturer’s warranty is valid for 24 months for private individuals and 12 months for legal entities. Certain products may be subject to a warranty period exceeding 12 months for legal entities.
- All warranty service conditions, as well as the instructions, guidelines and requirements concerning the storage and operation of the product, have been discussed with the purchaser individually. These conditions are fair and do not infringe the purchaser’s rights and obligations as a consumer. The purchaser has understood and accepted these conditions prior to purchasing the product.
- The purchaser undertakes to comply with all product storage and operating conditions specified in these terms and conditions.
- The purchaser has decided to purchase the respective product only after familiarising themselves with these terms and conditions and the product storage and operating instructions, and after assessing their ability to comply with the applicable requirements.
Warranty Obligations Do Not Apply If:
- The product is used for a purpose other than that for which it is intended or contrary to the requirements specified in the operating instructions.
- The product has been damaged as a result of an accident occurring during transportation, loading or unloading, except where the product was delivered using Reimpex Kaunas transport.
- Any unauthorised repair has been carried out, seals have been damaged, or there are signs that an attempt has been made to disassemble the product. This also applies where the product has been modified or repaired by anyone other than UAB “Reimpex Kaunas” or a service centre authorised by the manufacturer.
- There is mechanical damage to the housing or other components, or the malfunction has been caused by foreign objects, substances, insects, dust, shavings or similar materials entering the product.
- The product has been incorrectly connected to a power supply or has malfunctioned due to excessive voltage surges occurring during electrical installation works in substations, distribution equipment or similar facilities.
- The product has been damaged by lightning, fire, water or other natural disasters, aggressive substances, liquids or similar causes.
- The product’s serial number is illegible, has been altered, removed or relocated, or the serial number does not correspond to the number indicated on the warranty certificate.
- The malfunction has occurred as a result of using non-standard materials or spare parts.
